last night was kind of perfect. well, just what i needed after a truly craptastic week. i was lucky enough to hail a taxi with holiday music playing - and a jolly driver! he took me a different way than i would have liked but i was too tired to request a better route. and good thing because we cruised by the most fabulous parking lot strung with lights and filled with christmas trees. my eyes widened and i nearly jumped over the divider into the front seat with omg, could you please pull over so i can get a tree?!?! he thought i was kidding so he kept driving and that’s when i intervened with i will buy you a tree, too! he laughed and this time he pulled over. i ran back three blocks, picked up the first tree i could get my hands, paid for it and ran back to the taxi and dropped it in the trunk. we continued on our way to my apartment - only this time the smell of pine accompanied the holiday music. a festive friday eveing. like i said, kind of perfect. tonight, it snowed. the first snow of the season. peaceful gorgeousness.

let’s talk about bags for a second or two. i have been searching for a laptop/yoga gear bag for months. one that is comfortable, durable and has a casual yet urban look and feel. i thought i got close with the bags from moop but something stopped me from the purchase. a huge thank you to crystal (one of my favorite people in san francisco) for reminding me of my love for s.stein bags. happy early christmas to me!
