i like it here.

storyteller, mentor, visual learner, beta lover, realistic optimist. boston is home. new york is on the radar. prefer to live in lowercase. a typical day: music. morning run along the river. yoga shapes on an orange mat. green tea. sometimes chai. hot shower. work for a vc firm. send voice notes. rarely listen to voice mail. there's a difference. stay up too late. wake up too early. most days i like it here. liking is a choice. connect dots. keep moving.

it will feel lonely, perhaps, to go where others are not and you might look around and wonder if you are on the right path. but every innovator / change agent / kick-ass person who delivered value is also a person who marked their own way…

facing into this reality is ridiculously hard. most of us don’t have to ever get really clear on anything. fuzzy is enough most of the time. but when we get clear and decide to find that path that we need to find, then we get the rewards of not only knowing what we care about (key) but then having other people see that.

a year in the making. seeking c-l-a-r-i-t-y over accepting fuzzy. impossibly painful and confusing at times. unexpectedly awesome, lately. the hardest part has been not accepting what others want for me or believe i should be doing. the best part has been not accepting what others want for me or believe i should be doing. lonely, yes. rewarding, increasingly.

a short list of life savers: morning runs, daily talks with my father, notes from em, phone chats with m., green juice, serendipity [especially here], intuitionmusic, dinners with uncle d. + a., denim [a daily dose], tea dates with diana, friends in new york (yes, YOU), mentoring [especially this beauty], daily pictures, rose face oil, a silly but worthwhile battle to regain mayorship of the coop [so yea, books], a new found love for burritos, voice notes, visiona solid reminder to speak up + share, the charles river...

a mantra of sorts:

explore + learn. interact + wanderbe fucking awesomeNOWkeep moving.
