I LIKE IT HERE.

storyteller, mentor, visual learner, beta lover, realistic optimist. boston is home. new york is on the radar. prefer to live in lowercase. a typical day: music. morning run along the river. yoga shapes on an orange mat. green tea. sometimes chai. hot shower. work for a vc firm. send voice notes. rarely listen to voice mail. there's a difference. stay up too late. wake up too early. most days i like it here. liking is a choice. connect dots. keep moving.

i don’t think that it’s the practical ones among us who move to new york. (perhaps it is just that it needs a naive trust in life, that whatever happens is meant to, or could, or does and you’ll get through it.) there is something about this place that requires a leap of faith, that asks you to hold tight and see what happens, that never actually promises that you’ll come out the other side not worse for wear. but you do, usually. i have, mostly.

oh new york. always, always new york in my heart. i often wake with an emptiness similar to a hunger for the city, my friends, the bridges, the aliveness, the craziness, the goodness.
